At TestPilot, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service at gettestpilot.com.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

• Account information — email address and password when you create an account
• Usage data — number of test case generations, timestamps, and session identifiers
• User story content — the text you paste into TestPilot to generate test cases. This is sent to Anthropic's API for processing and is not stored permanently on our servers
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the TestPilot service
• To manage your account and subscription
• To track usage limits (free vs. paid plans)
• To send service-related emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
• To analyze usage patterns and improve our AI prompts

3. Data Storage

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted in the EU (Ireland). We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

User story content submitted for test case generation is sent to Anthropic's API and is subject to Anthropic's privacy policy. We do not store the full content of your user stories.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following third-party services necessary to operate TestPilot:

• Anthropic — AI processing of user stories
• Supabase — database and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

5. GDPR Rights (EU Users)

As a user in the European Union, you have the following rights:

• Right to access — request a copy of your personal data
• Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your data
• Right to portability — receive your data in a portable format
• Right to object — object to processing of your data

We use minimal cookies and local storage only to maintain your session and remember your login state. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

TestPilot is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
